Power Strat in Sonic Blue

I meant to post this here and not the 'Primo Builds' thread were I originally posted it (apologies to the admins- feel free to delete my other post). It's probably not exotic enough to qualify as a 'primo build', but I like it.

The goal was to build a hot-rodded strat that had a vintage vibe (6 screw trem and single coil look), but could still hang with my guitars that have humbuckers and Floyd trems.
I used a super light Alder body in sonic blue gloss, flame maple neck (my photography skills don't do it justice) with dark Indian rosewood fretboard and mother of pearl inlays. The Duncan hot rails pickups are wired to a 3-way switch, with one volume and one tone control.
The hardward is all Gotoh black chrome, inlcluding the Gotoh 510 6-screw trem that really feels like a 2 point trem.

Nice

PSA any 6 point trem can almost be set up as a 2 point. The difference is the edge will not be elevated like a 2 point
I have traditional strats with fender 6 screw trems and they dont feel as smooth as the Gotoh FST trem. I think it's a combination of things- the bar arm itself is more along the lines of a floyd in terms of angle and height. And the FST option routes the string through the block such that the string doesn't touch the trem plate at all. Supposedly, this allows for more stable tuning and smoother feel by removing a contact point for the string, which makes sense. It really feels nothing like my traditional strat trems.

I like the Gotoh Wilkenson VSVG 6 hole bridge, solves 95% of the issues and stays in tune.
