Good day, fellows!
I'm new but I have already notice that you have a flawless community right here.
I am asking for advice from more experienced members.
I bumped into an ad for sale of this instrument. Unidentified body with carvin bolt neck. From my sight seems that routing and outlines are belongs to Warmoth body - les paul double cut. No logo in the neck pocket, could it be sanded down?

Thank you in advance for your help!

It could be.  Nice solid cap on that sucker by the looks of it.  The controls are off but they could have been drilled by the owner.  The control cavity looks to be the same dimensions as my Warmoth LPS.

Warmoth was one of the 1st to have natural masked binding too.  Go for it.

how much are they asking?

Thanks for the replies,
About $400, with all black furniture parts (Korean brand) and cheap jackson pu's. This is the overseas price, do not be surprised.
He is open for trades and thinks over on my yamaha rgx 620J.

It does look very much like a Warmoth to me. However, no logo in the pocket would be extremely unusual. The logo is branded quite deep, and not easily removed.

I know that body isn't available any more but ... that seems steep for a used body.  I imagine that was probably around $600 at most with the figure and finish. Lots of finished Regals available under $500 new.

It could not be clear but that price not only for the body.

Well, there will be a trade. I will do more pictures if anyone is interested.

Hi there!
Very appreciated for your help.
The exchange took place.

I cant identify the body wood, for alder, I think it's too many black stripes. I am not an expert by any means.
It is 3 piece body, weight w/o furniture about 2.1kg (4.6lbs) and I bet that horns are hollow.

It looks like a Curly Maple top over either a Maple or Ash body. It's not a Warmoth, but it's a nice piece.

The core wood is Alder. The neck pocket has been modified, but if you zoom in you will see the remnants of the old turtle brand that we used to brand side ways left in the middle of the pocket. There is also the letter C at the top of the pocket which would indicate that the body is Chambered. That's my 2 cents, take it for what it's worth :)
