Potential problem with my finish

Hey guys, I recently got a p-bass body in candy tangerine satin and I'm thinking that something isn't quite right.  It seems like it's too soft.  I've read that they continue to harden for a while after they ship but this seems excessive.  Under the pickguard where the screws are you can see that the finish was sorta pushed out a bit from the pressure.  It's much worse under the bridge.  Maybe this is normal for these finishes so I wanted to ask on here, see if anyone else has had similar experiences.  I've already sent it back once because the first finish shrank and was cracked upon arrival.  I hate the thought of waiting another 4 or 5 weeks but I'm worried about the longevity of the paint on this thing.  It's already gotten dinged up from a very light bump on the edge of a table.

I've been doing finishing for 40 years, and part of me wants to say this is normal.... but it's brand spanking new? Maybe 3rd times the charm. Send it back.

Yes, that definitely looks weird/wrong.
I've got a body in satin Dakota Red, and there's none of that on it.
