Post one embarrassing photo of yourself.

My nephew called this a cowboy mullet. Don't even know what I was thinking about those sideburns. My attitude was a lot different 25 years ago about things biting you in the butt later.
Lynard Skynard meets Billy the Kid... :dontknow:

I literally spit out my coffee through my fingers!

Rural life suits you, Robert.

Hope you're safe from the insane fires raging up north. Best to Mrs. G.

Thanks, Ian. We're pretty much surrounded by fires. Fortunately the fires to the South are not expanding so they must be getting some control over them. The wind hasn't brought too much smoke our way during the day yesterday and today. At night, the fine ash does filter down so we still have to keep the house buttoned up solid.

Things are crazy all over the world. :sad1:
This is awful, but I guess the most important thing is to be safe.
Hope everything works out for you and yours, Robert.

Thanks, Magnus. We're not close enough for any real problems. Just smoke and ash.

And idiots. The supply of idiots exceeds the demand, but that's nothing new. :laughing11:

A deficit of idiots!  Imagine that.

"You know, I'd really like to get some truly stupid stuff spread broadly across the face of the earth, but there just aren't enough mouth-breathing dingbats to get the job done."

Heh.

Back in high school I saved up and got myself I got my Gibson Firebird and wanted to show it off on the Myspace... Here's my flip phone camera selfie in front of a mirror in my room with it! Gotta love the vacuum cleaner, dirty clothes on the floor, and overall dorky-ness of it lol

Nice guitar!! Dude that looks like my room now :laughing11: Wife is always asking why my socks are on the floor. I keep blaming gravity

Here's a real interesting one. That's me on the right with the first of many Warmoth Strats. If I remember right, that's an alder body with a Standard Thin Maple/Rosewood neck with the pre-CAD letter Explorer headstock. OFR and a S.D. Custom in it, I think. It was 83 or 84, so the hairdo and paint job reflect the times.
