you might be able to buy a sheet and then cut it out from a template of another pickguard? you'd need another one to trace it out from, and i didn't realize it was $80! thats pretty damn expensive. and i forgot to mention warmoth's brown shell pickguard. i love their tortoise pickguards, they look awesome. would work on blue, but might not be for everybody haha
you know, I got a tortoise shell guard for my thinline. In photos I think they look really good but now that i own one... I pretty much think it looks like vomit. and i would want to replace it ASAP. haha
brown shell def sounds like a possibility. but the rosewood may already cover my brown bases. so i dunno.
who really knows? I still can't decide if i want to do this or just say "fudge it" and buy the swamp ash hollow tele bass i've been eyeing. It wouldn't be the logical thing to do, but i just think it'd be such a cool instrument
