Pickup ring hate, but still wanting height adjustment...

So i have this warmoth build guitar and i hate pickup rings i just think they look ugly, but like the topic description id still like to have a height adjustment solution because i understand wood mount would be the best choice for my issue, i think........ im not really sure what im trying to say id just like to know if anyone has a few solutions to my problem. :help:

yah thats probably my best bet then. ive got a pup ring problem in a different guitar too and that one surely doesnt need rings so i think ima just fill the holes where the rings went and wood mount the thing. thanks a bunch

Someone remarked in another thread that cut mouse pads work very well.

Best Bass Gear has foam for this purpose that I bought instead of trying the mouse pad trick because I'm somewhat challenged with an exacto-knife, lol.
