Pickguard redesign suggestions.

I’m not sure I like this pickguard design.  Does anyone have any suggestions?  Can you draw me a new design?

I dont think I could draw it, but what about a Strat guitar / Tele bass hybrid pick guard?  Maybe a Jazzmaster pick guard.  That is a toughie to get my noggin around...

Cut it off from the screw hole right under the neck to the one in the middle of the guitar at the bottome of the guard.

The beauty, or novelty, of that guitar is the orientation being out of whack.  A lefty with righty orientation.  That pickguard needs to look exactly like that.  To change it would only trick up the eyes even more.  It's too late now, but a rear routed body with the controls where they are now going through the body, with the lefty pickguard with no control holes drilled could work.  But then again, that's too busy.
