This is off topic but somewhat music related. I know there are a couple of pen turners on here so thought I would share a couple of pens I did lately with current USPS stamps featuring Jimi and Janis. Enjoy

LOVE THIS! 

I was in a woodworking store a couple weeks ago in Orange and almost bought some blanks, but didn't' want to fall down that rabbit hole.  I'm already in project hell.

So how did you make the blanks? Resin casting over a metal tube?

Yes casted over metal tubes. I have a vinyl plotter for doing t-shirts. I wrapped the tube with gold holo-foil then cut the red with all the holes in it so when wrapped it looks like gold bubbles. Put the stamp on and sealed it all with gold leaf sealer then casted it. waited a day and turned it on the lathe. very tedious but I like the end result

Nice, nice bit of work there. Funny I liked pens when I was doing a lot of office work but my writing was complete crap.

I like pens, as well, and my writing is worse than anyone's. I totally should have been a doctor.
