I just bought a little 3 inch pneumatic polish gun so I thought I would take an oldie but goodie and give it a polish.  This was my 1st effort and a poly finish and it still looks great.  This stuff is hard and really tested the new polisher but it turned out great.  I just love the figure on the neck...especially up top....

So far so good.  Make tuning a snap with the build in string cutter.

I've gotta get your recommendation on Poly finishes.  I wasn't real lucky with my last lacquer finish, and was thinking about doing a clear poly finish on my next one, which will be a scratch mahogany jaguar.  Kind of a Chris Craft look, glossy wood, mucho chrome.
