Guitar of the Month suggestion

I just thought of a possibly bad idea, but not bad enough to not suggest:

A guitar of the month contest where there is a cap on the amount of $$ spent building the guitar.

I suppose one could make the "sky's the limit" on the amount of labor put in, and the money part would have to be on the honor system.

I've got the memory of a goldfish, but I can't recall ever seeing where budget made a difference between winning or losing, so... to what end?
