Parts for a 7/8" side jack route?

Hi,

I'm anxiously waiting for my warmoth body, wich has a side jack route (7/8").
Do you guys know which jack socket do I have to get for that? Warmoth site says this:

"Intended for use with the Square Jack Plate, SJP1C style, or the Electro Socket, ES1C style."

If I'm not wrong the Electro Socket has the socket and the jackplate all together.
What about if I want to use the Square Jack Plate? Which jack socket should I get?


Any advice appreciated.

I don't have the answer for you, but please don't make the same question in more than one thread.
Depth of your socket my depend on the body it's going into, for deep or regular, that is.
What type of body are you getting?

Sorry about the duplicate, didn't know which category to put it in.

About the body. I'm getting a Standard Strat replacement body, but I couldn't find anything bout the depth on warmoth's site.

You can use the MJ1 http://www.warmoth.com/Mono-Jack-By-Switchcraft-P122C68.aspx  which is the most common, or for a premium option use the PWSJ http://www.warmoth.com/Planet-Waves-Stereo-Jack-Gold-Plated-P733C68.aspx (without using the jack cover. That's what I use). 

You can use either of these jacks with both the Square Jack Plate or the Football Jack Plate.

Like Gregg said, and as an added note.

If you apply shielding inside the jack hole, the Planet Waves will slide in and out of there without much risk of any of the contacts or parts binding up on the wall.  I know some people have issues with this if they get the old fashioned type of jack, but the PL jack installs very cleanly.
