Oversized Strap Buttons - Drill Bit Size?

Does anyone know the drill bit size for installing the Oversized Strap Buttons that Warmoth sells? Thanks!

Any time I drill I use my digital calipers to measure the outside diameter of the thread I am screwing in and chose a drill bit slightly under that.

The duality of man… I just hold my bits up to the screw, squint, stick my tongue out of the corner of my mouth for extra concentration power, then go full send when one looks right.

True, but sadly I need a new set of drill bits as mine are old and IMHO not good for working on guitars. So I just want to be sure that the set I order has what I need.

So it seems as though a 1/8" bit would work? I will of course "precisely" eyeball as you say!

Any suggestions? They seem to range in price from cheap (under $15) to (at least for my budget) expensive ($75+).

I got the stupid expensive ones from Stew Mac, and they kinda suck. They work well enough, but run the battery down constantly so I have to pop it in and out with every use.

The ones in the link above would be plenty fine.

I got a no-name one from the AMZ as well (well, "no name" unless you count the random 5 alphanumeric characters that all the "sellers" use to pretend they're different merchants). And a stash of the button-cell batteries from the local Walgreens/CVS/Kroger/WhateverElseHasn'tGoneOutOfBusiness.
