The duality of man… I just hold my bits up to the screw, squint, stick my tongue out of the corner of my mouth for extra concentration power, then go full send when one looks right.Any time I drill I use my digital calipers to measure the outside diameter of the thread I am screwing in and chose a drill bit slightly under that.
True, but sadly I need a new set of drill bits as mine are old and IMHO not good for working on guitars. So I just want to be sure that the set I order has what I need. The duality of man… I just hold my bits up to the screw, squint, stick my tongue out of the corner of my mouth for extra concentration power, then go full send when one looks right.

Any suggestions? They seem to range in price from cheap (under $15) to (at least for my budget) expensive ($75+).So much this.
Digital calipers is a purchase that will pay itself many times over.
