Others similar to Warmoth?

So I love what Warmoth does, and great quality products, but was wondering, are there other companies doing the same for other instruments? Like a drum parts company to build a drum kit? Or any other instruments you may think of?

Sure, there are places where you can get kits for acoustic strings instruments: ukes, fiddles, acoustic guitars, etc. No place that I know of for drums, but I'm sure there are some out there. You think guitar builders go nuts about this stuff...wait until you talk to some drummers. Wood species, number of plys, bearing edges, number of lugs, one head or two, ports, etc, etc, etc.

Saw kits for cajons by German company.  They are also stool height so you can take turns drumming and playing the guitar.

I custom finished a set of Keller drum shells for my son when he was in high school and then had a buddy drill and attach the hardware. They turned out great.

You probably know this, but Stewart MacDonald sells all kinds of kits. I wouldn't say they're comparable to Warmoth and don't have many options, but from what I gather they're okay quality.

CF Martin actually sells kits of 3-4 models of guitar--the website says they are not "exact replicas" of their guitars, but I suspect they state that as a CYA.

There is also Mojotone which sells kids of  a variety of classic guitar amplifiers.
I would love to take an electronics class and work my way up to making one.

And related to that I purchased a kit for a fuzz pedal, kind of waiting for some downtime / rainy day where I can start working on it.

As far as amps go, Weber also makes pretty good whole amp kits and any kind of speaker you could ever want. They will also hook you up with someone to put together part of or the whole kit, depending on what you want. You can end up getting hand built point to point wired amps for about the same price as a PCB reissue.

Also included with that is custom tolex/grill colors and you can have whatever speaker combo you want. Like, I have a Super Reverb clone, only I wanted 2x12" speakers rather than 4x10".

On amp kits, Ceriatone make a range of well known types of guitar amps....I have never bought from Ceriatone so can't vouch for their quality (and of course, if you are doing the wiring up, it's your skills that count anyway)  but there's plenty of folks who have their dream tweed Deluxe or modded Plexi that came from Ceriatone.  I can vouch for Weber though...I imported a specific type of speaker of their's into Australia, and the description matched the tone I got out of that speaker....
