Finished this thing a couple days ago, but every time I mean to get it out to take pictures I just end up playing it for a few hours then putting it away! Easily the nicest playing guitar I've owned. Gotta love it when a plan comes together! Sometimes you never know what you'll be getting with a parts guitar.
Specs:
• Warmoth Swamp ash body (with some flame on the front)
• Tequila Sunrise Burst finish
• Warmoth quartersawn maple neck with Brazilian rosewood fretboard
• Fatback contour. Once you go Fat you'll never go back.
• Rio Grande Dirty Harry telecaster pickup set
• 4 way switch
I can't believe how huge this thing sounds. Definitely the most versatile guitar I've ever owned. The singlecoils are almost dead quiet. I could barely believe it! I wired it up with a 4 way switch because I thought I'd really love the 4th position for the bigger sound and hum canceling (and I do) but I don't think it was completely necessary with these pickups. Virtually no 60 cycle hum, and I play everything from pop rock to metal. Handles high gain extremely well.
Anyway enough rambling. Pictures!
