Ive been splurging, and it needs to stop.  It just filled an itch or 2 I have had for a while.  A hollow body and P90s.

Tried a Casino back in 2012 as I recall. As much as I tried, I couldn’t bond with it. The tone was really good. The neck width, profile and neck join location combined I really couldn’t bond with.

I want a true 1 11/16 wide neck, a thicker neck profile, and a more typical neck join location.

Enter a Heritage H-530.

Been looking at them since before I lost my job in Nov 2016.  Well, a number of months ago one came up in a darker sunburst that just spoke to me.  After watching it all this time, chatted with the owner, made an offer and it was accepted.

I’ll post a pic tomorrow when I’m back at a computer.
Pic below

Is it wrong that I’m drilling holes in it ASAP? It’s getting a Bigsby.

Oh and I need to hide this for a bit. Wife doesn’t know it’s been acquired. She said it looks nice, but it may be too soon for another purchase :tard:

The archetypal guitar as it existed in my 14-year-old mind was an archtop/hollowbody with either a trapeze bridge or a Bigsby.  To this day I've never owned one - so I see the appeal!

Heritage makes as fine a production guitar as one can hope to find...in my opinion, anyway. Enjoy it!!

Oh trust me.  It’s getting a proper Bigsby.  Probably also new tuners to reduce neck dive.  It’s a hollow body ala 330 / Casino and has those heavy Grover’s on it.  Will probably go Hipshot open gear locking with plastic keystone knobs.

You only live once and a lot of lame stuff happens. You should at least have all the guitars you want.

That's a beauty. Congrats and good luck on hiding it until the statute of limitations passes.  :laughing7:
