One question before I take the plunge...

How thick is the VIP body? Is it as thick as the LP? Because I found the perfect finished body on Warmoth's site, and only thing I'm wondering about is body thickness. If anyone has one could they measure it? (I have Padouk body w/ Mahogany top)

Why not call Warmoth and ask.  I have always found their customer service to be top notch and able to answer any questions I had.
