Hi!
Do I need to move the bridge?
I have in my possession av very old Warmoth neck (30+ years) with the frets inserted like in a Gibson neck. The distance between the frets are the same as on a Gibson or similar guitar with 24,75" scale length. That is closer together than on an ordinary strat neck. However, when I insert this neck in the neckpocket of a Strat body, the distance between the nut and the bridge saddles are still 25,5"! Shouldn't the scale been changed to 24,75"? Maybe this old neck requiers the bridge to be moved a little closer to the neck? I know that the current line of conversion necks don't requier that but this is a 30+ year old neck so maybe this is different?
Attaching 3 photos. The unit on the folding rule is millimeters. Distance from nut to 12th fret is 12.2" (310mm like a Gibson) and from nut to back of heel 18.3" (465mm like a standard Strat neck)
