If that's a Colt Dragoon, you'll have to pull it all the way back.

(Yes, I watched "True Grit" for the 1,000th time Sunday. I'm a Duke lover.)

I don't think it's a troll.  G0dsmack, just take it to any store that sells guitars, at the very least they'll be able to point you to someone who can assemble it for you.

If all else fails, just take it to a tech, and ask them to assemble it for you.  Shouldn't be expensive, and you'll get a pro setup at the same time.

where would i find this ?  :headbang:

Look up music stores in your area and ask them if they have anyone that works on guitars.  If not, ask them if they can recommend any luthiers to you.

this sounds like the best op but is it less expensive to make myself? i could just get some glue and stuff today at the store...

my advice, find a guitar tech. and ask questions. let someone else build this one. buy a good book on guitar repair,
the one by Dan Erlewine (sp?) is great. read cover to cover. then read it again. post questions here, go back and re-reread the parts you had trouble understanding in the book if any. then practice changing the setup on a cheapo pawn shop guitar, once that plays nice setup you nice guitar your self, then build another nice warmoth yourself.

i'm all about DIY and guitars are not rocket science but if you don't know even alittle you'll never get it to play in tune, you'll never get the action to feel good, you can destroy your neck, forget about the electronics you'll have nasty buzzing/hum or it won't work at all. guitars are not complicated but many important thing are not that obvious and soldering is an aquired skill. find someone, it won't be expensive, i promise.

oh and seriously, what did ya get? we're all sick, guitars are like porn for us, or crack. we want to see. atleast give a description.

I keep imagining a pickguard being glued down to a AAAAA top with globs of carpenters glue oozing out all over the top, and maybe all the wiring being done solder-less with just electrical tape holding it all together.

Troll or not, how does someone with a user name based on the band Godsmack have a Fall Out Boy avatar. That's like some kind of twisted musical double negative.

It's someone who just likes whatever is playing on alternative rock radio this week.

I don't know.  I like both bands.  They're both just variations of loud rock music.  You gotta mix it up at least somewhat or it gets tedious.  I spread it out WAY futher than that.

But I still think "troll".  Well, maybe "troll" is too negative of a word.  I think it's somebody just having a goof.

I like Godsmack okay (when they come on the radio...I don't own any of their albums) but Fall Out Boy always sounds like pop-radio filler to me.  Anyway, I do think that guy was real and bought some Warmoth parts... hopefully he took them to a tech and is now rocking out in his mom's basement!  :)  :guitaristgif:

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that this guy and the guy who watches TV with his brand new Melody Maker, but thinks it needs a new pickup, should get together and glue stuff to their guitars.
