This is my 90s Strat Plus Deluxe. Not a build, but I gutted the electronics: BG V60s with a S90 in the bridge, S1 switch for 10-sound strat, and a bass rolloff control which is really helpful to help sculpt some of those in series combos. I recently leveled and polished the frets, and hit the back of the neck with some 0000 wool. Plays like butter.
I'm hoping I can get the purple superstrat build to this level of comfort and setup soon!
This was my first Warmoth, but more importantly, my first exposure to a Tele. I had always been an LP player with a Strat. As a teenager in the 80's, I had first read about Warmoth in the guitar magazines of the era and had always wanted to make my own creation. In the mid 2010's, I finally got around to doing it. I never had an interest in a Tele, but from reading many threads here and TheGearPage, I figured why not.
After my '92 LPC, which has been, and still is my #1, this is my #2, but my #1 Warmoth. It has a neck with a Wolfgang profile that I absolutely love, Bill Lawrence (wildepickups) T48 (B) and L45 (N), and a 4 way switch, that I may swap out to a normal 3 way switch at some point.
My favorite changes from day to day, too. But I'm pretty sure the guitar I picked up the most in the last 12 months, by far, would be my 7/8 with the '78:
Plays great, sounds great, locks great... great guitar!
