Picked this puppy up...made in VIETNAM for 2013 NAMM (kinda funny).

About the size of a 339/359.  I never liked the bigger 335s.  All mahogany.  Cheap feeling tuners but seem to work well.  Sound is really good especially the neck PU. 

Very happy and may play with the pups  a bit, but for now just going to enjoy it.  Company is IYV.

I agree; that's a nice piece. Bound neck, frets already dressed... how do they do that? I need a couple bound necks right now, and no matter how I do it I keep going over $500 each, then I've got to make the frets right myself. I'll bet that whole guitar didn't cost that much.

Plus, there's the cost of living. Here, you'd have a tough time living with no food in a refrigerator box under an overpass for what those people gross in a year.

For that price, you can hardly go wrong.  I too like the smaller size hollow bodies.  The 335 size is just too big for my small frame.
Keep us posted of any mods you do on this girl and  :rock-on:

Not keen on the strap button either but I think most semi hollows have that placement.  It will soon be replaced with a strap lock and all should be well.

I was playing it a bit last night.  Thing really sings.  Has fantastic sustain especially when playing the neck pickup.

Right now I am going to leave it.  Going to do some research on pickups.  I want something really jazzy in the neck and something a little more "jack white/ white stripes" in the bridge...

I did not.  It was a build they made for Namm.  Maybe a future model prototype??
Can you post the link to their site?  I would like to take a look.

Do they have a storefront?  They may only sell to dealers.

I just re-read your first post where you said the company was called IYV.  I saw that as IVY.
