I've always wanted to own a strat but felt that the production pieces were too pricey for it's parts. And then I found Warmoth! Woohoo! My lack of photography skills is apparent.

Ordered from warmoth

- Chambered swamp ash body
- One piece maple neck 6150 frets (previous military injury, painful to use medium jumbo frets) and the delicious 70's pornish headstock!
- Gotoh tuners, White Corian Nut

Picked up a trio of Van Zandt vintage plus pickups from a guy on a local music forum. Gorgeous sounds through my Ceriatone Lightning!

Gotoh vintage tremolo, shielding, set-up and assembly at a local guitar shop: www.soundalchemy.com.sg

Strung with 10 - 42's

Warmoth's package arrived on the last day of last year, 31st Dec while I was watching star wars! Now gotta find a name to christen this Lightsabre! Anyone good with decals?

Good days are here!  :headbang:

I figured it'd be a nice option to try! Folks on forums keep saying chambered's good for sustain, note attack and bloom and I bought into it!  :eek:ccasion14:

Also, my other guitar being a carved top Mahagony Parker Pm20 Pro which has a really good range of modern soundingof tones (Jazz / JB Humbuckers + Split Coils) and I didn't want to go the alder route (my friend owns a jap alder strat). Surprisingly, this ash strat still weighs heavier than an Japanese alder strat, figure it's the steel block trem and everything else...

Now to get the sm57 and an interface to get soundclips! Heh!  :laughing7:
