Looks pretty good to me.


There are a pair of black J-bass bodies in alder on the Screaming Deals list at $225 each, weighing 5lbs 10oz and 5lbs 12 oz, and another in roasted alder at $250 weight 5lbs 7oz, if you want to get started on the cheapety-cheap.  No defects listed, just old stock, I reckon.

Black pearl on gloss black is a good combination. That should make a fine looking one.
