I helped my twin brother build this bass out of his old squire before he left for Afghanistan. The only squire part left of the entire thing is the body. We first changed the pickups I think are dimarzio model P and a dimarzio ultra jazz bridge, rewired it, bought new pots. The original bridge had a bad burr on the saddles which would contribute to E string breakage (Never seen a bass string before that squire). The neck we got from the show case, and also got schaller tuners from warmoth as well, from what I remember the neck was pretty cheap since it was unfinished, the block inlays are gorgeous. I really wish I had a better camera really show off how cool this thing is.
