Newbie's first Warmoth arrived last night, Hardtail Strat

I had several years of woodworking and electronics in school and I am still intimidated by some aspects of guitar building.
A video would be great...

I had a guitar teacher years ago who left me with a number of very good lessons, but probably the best of all was that you need a mindset to do great things. That is: you have to dare to suck <grin> It's a valuable thing to internalize, because the reality of most situations is they're nowhere near as bad as our imaginations.

Building guitars, especially when the truly tricky parts have been done by someone like Warmoth, really is surprisingly easy, almost embarassingly so. You end up getting a great deal of credit for doing something you barely had any involvement in other than picking out parts to screw together from a rich menu of premium supplies.
