Hi. I want to buy Warmoth Pro neck for my Squier Standard Strat but I don't know if it would fit the neck pocket. Has anyone done the same thing already? Thanks

I have tried a Squier Bullet neck on a Warmoth strat body, and it doesn't fit well or intonate well.

Well, thanks. But I was asking the other way round. Better neck (Warmoth) for Standard Squier body. I think it is obvious that Bullet Series neck and bodies aren't of high quality. It is the cheapest range of Squier guitars so I'm not surprised it didn't intonate well. But thanks for your reply.

It ought to work just fine. Once you get the neck and tuners, you can get some real pickups put in there, then start saving for a proper body and bridge. Soon you'll have a great warmoth. Save the squier parts and re-assemble at the end to sell and start Warmoth #2.  :icon_thumright:

I've done this for a couple friends recently, and I found that the neck fits well into the socket, but it sits lower than in an American Strat body, and I'm not sure if that has to do with the fact that the Squire bodies are overall thinner.

The guitars play great, btw.
