New VIP Warmoth in washed Blue Dye

This was put together by Kelly Barber. Mahogany Body and neck with a kingwood fingerboard. The pick ups are PRS 57/08's.

Not really....and after I finish my second build and spec out my third, I'm done....... :toothy12:

Really nice VIP by the way....the kingwood fretboard totally works with the binding on the body.  Makes it look visually complete.  :icon_thumright:

If he doesn't put decals on the headstock, would you recommend leaving it alone, or getting some?

I saw some guy on a thread that had "Kanji" decals. Looked really cool, though I don't know if it would be suitable for this particular guitar.

My VIP has an Ebony Veneer headstock and I was debating about putting something on it and I chose not to...and I havent regretted it.  Keep it neked.

Absolutely. I took delivery of my first neck last week and it's staying naked as well. I think it's classy.

amazing! this is the 2nd finished VIP i've seen in washed blue. that was the exact same idea i had for my first build a couple years ago but the money ran out and i had to cancel. MAN i'm kicking myself now! great guitar. i love it
