I do like the Shamrock Green and Candy Green.

I have something in another type of green from Warmoth for a future project.

I've always like the Sherwood green, or even a Forest green, the other not as much  :icon_thumright:

Cool shout out to Fat Pete and his Beast: https://www.unofficialwarmoth.com/index.php?topic=25792.0

Love the greens.  Last build was turquoise dye, with added sparkle highlights, under clear gloss.  Mix of green and blue, and then the yellow of the alder = turquoise

Hey Aaron!  I have TWO green guitars: Both warmoth telecasters.  One is sherwood green, the other one is a custom green paisley finished by Tonar.

Green Rules!

Thanks for the mention TA!

Thanks too for reminding me that I really, really want a sherwood green guitar, what a weirdly unpleasant, yet lovely colour that is. As my promotional fee, I'll take a Mooncaster body - sherwood green front, cream (or ivoroid) binding, trans green over mahogany back. Ta!

For the love of everything that is Holy!!!!
I had my next order already planned out. Satin black Soloist with all black hardware, SxH, Floyd Rose bridge.
Now, actually seeing that Candy Green on a body... WHY? Why do you do this to me?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

A problem with green is there are so many variations. I mean in basic terms, every blue shade you can think of can be made into a variety of greens by adding different amounts of yellow. So there's no "one" ideal green. With that in mind I think it's not surprise that there are 14 variations on the menu.

For my money, I loooove the color of Goblin Flake, but I don't like the flake metallic. I'd rather have it as a Candy color, or even a regular metallic lime green.

There's a super strat build I've been planning for years. It's gonna be lime green with a matching headstock, with an ebony fretboard, black pickguard and black hardware. Now I could go with Charger Green, that's a really nice green. But I really think I'd prefer a metallic finish for this guitar. Well all of the standard metallic greens are rather muted, while Candy Green is a true green rather than a lime green. So at this point if I really want a lime green metallic finish I'm going to have to go outside of Warmoth. The other alternative is to settle for Charger Green.

It's just the nature of green.

@Double A: Future build plans include a Jazzmaster. I plan on going with one of two options for colors: 1) Seafoam Green with a white pearloid pickguard, or 2) Candy Green with a w-b-w pickguard. Which way I go will be a gametime decision, but I'm leaning toward the Seafoam Green at the moment.

Hmm....between Seafoarm and Candy on a Jazzmaster I'd probably go Seafoam. It just seems right. Between Seafoam and Surf I'd still probably go Seafoam on a Jazzmaster, even though I almost always prefer Surf.

"It just seems right..." My thoughts exactly. I'm mulling a pair of P-90's for it to give it a real classic surf vibe so the Seafoam just fits. We'll see. That build is still a ways away and you never know where the wind will blow.

Ever since I stumbled across the Goblin Flake color option last year I've been itching to add one to the collection.  I finally pulled the trigger in January for a Goblin Musiclander.  I'm very excited to go full 80s on it with a purpleheart neck. Should be just the right balance of gaudy and gorgeous.
