I have a 1952 guitar made by The Tokyo Electric Instrument and Sound Company. Will one of your Strat necks fit it? Do you have bamboo as an optional material?

The vids just keep gettin' better. My compliments Sir. :icon_thumright:

Nice mug.  And the coffee cup's pretty neat also.

Regardless of logistics, I think Warmoth should do limited run(s) of complete guitars.  Just because it would be so freaking awesome.  Just one guy, out back in a shed.

I enjoyed this video and its many insights, but I was a bit confused by the statement that Warmoth is staying 100% focused on parts and not exploring fully built guitars. Because isn’t that exactly what Meadowhawk and Redshift are? Or will be? Allegedly?  :icon_scratch:

Allegedly.

That was another enjoyable video. Thanks for the insights into the manufacturing process behind both types of guitars.

Does he have to get tattoos on his head?
He might have some stuff in that shed you don't want to know about, too.

Well, buried under the floor of the shed, technically.

Is this a snap on this dude? 'Cause if it is, I'm here for it.

I love Ben's vid's. He can come off as a little condescending sometimes, but he does seem to know what he's doing. And he can sharpen a chisel better than anyone I've ever seen. He's done some wild guitar builds too.

Ben's fun, clearly having a good time.  He sometimes does things... differently than I would choose to, but I don't begrudge him his success.  But poking a little good-natured fun at the tattooed head is an easy shot to take.

Now, if you were to plumb the archives of this forum, you'd see one of our formerly very active members had some custom work done by Ben, and had the devil's own time from a quality of work, communication, and customer service perspective.  Ben's still at it, so presumably he got past the growing pains and did some learning about how to run a business.

I know what you mean. From watching the progress of the videos, I can tell that his attitude has changed a lot over the years.

Ya, but that's only one guy in a shed out back with a tattoo on his head. Nice guy.

The Redshifter and Meadowhawk are not a move towards building full guitars on regular basis. They are a passion-project to celebrate our 40th.

Well said, and duly noted. Thanks for the clarification!
