New Toy

I'm with everybody. That is mighty impressive.
Now even more interested than before to see what stringthing will come out of this.

So I got a hold of some blueprints for a tele online. I am starting to make my design. I have never taken a tele apart let alone built one. The plans look pretty legit but the first thing that jumped out at me is that the neck pocket is not square. I don't have the plans in front of me but the front of the pocket (toward the headstock) is slightly less then the rear resulting in a very slight trapazoid shape. not completely square. is this correct. I am just trying to get things close at this point then I will buy a warmoth neck and do the final calculation on that.

Took this from W's site.  I know nothing, however.

It's true - Fender neck pockets aren't exactly square. The whole neck is a slight trapezoid. It's [nut width] at one end, and 2 3/16" at the other.

That's also why you're supposed to push the neck down into the pocket rather than try to slide it in from the end.
