New to the forum + Waiting on my warmoth guitar

Hey! Just got on this forum as a result of ordering a guitar from the site, and from what I can see it's a really nice one!

So here's what I'm anxiously waiting for:

body:
Standard telecaster, chambered
core wood: Swamp ash with birdseye maple top
Gibson classic 57 plus in the neck and a duncan quarter pounder in the bridge
Contoured heel
Transparent purple finish
25-1/2 inch

Neck:
Warmoth pro maple neck
Wizard
6230 fretsize
10-16" Compound
Mother Of Pearl Dots
Vintage Tint Gloss
21 frets

Thoughts?

You got the contoured heel set of neck screws right? as two have to be smaller or else they go through the neck.

Yeah, i got the screws covered. The guitar will hopefully look great with the purple to the gold bridge, control plate, etc that i ordered as well.

Very nice, will have to watch this, might do gold on another bass with some form of purple, but probably go for some clean chrome haha

Welcome!  I've got a transparent purple tele in process, as well.  Like ol' Tom Petty said, the waiting is the hardest part!

Lets see how the Birdseye gets with the color! On Marko's Strat (tobacco burst) it got really nice, but the purple can get darker... But I believe people at Warmoth will know how much dark is good to show the eyes, they're really good!

They just called from UPS saying that the package will be arriving tomorrow, with a bit of luck i will make a out of the box thread in the next 24 hours!

So I'm currently sitting at home, awaiting the package arrival. The problem is that i don't really know when it will arrive, could be anything within the next 10 hours... good stuff...

Ah, yes, the "final wait." 

Last Friday I received my replacement Warmoth body back (it had to be replaced due to fractures in the wood).  I'd been waiting 4 months.

So, there it was, the delivery truck pulling up to my door, only to drop off Walmart displays for work on my step.  :doh:

Three hours later, my body arrived, just as I got home from a the music store.  :toothy12:

My Neck is due to arrive direct from Warmoth to Cagey who is doing a set up on it for me....

I keep checking the UPS tracker and it is currently on the truck!

Well, Cagey has my neck - arrived today.

So far I've just had a very teasing pm telling how beautiful it is.... but no pics yet.

He says he's gonna post them in a 'just out of the box' thread shortly, but I'm wearing my refresh button out waiting for them to show up!

My deepest apologies , i have not been able to post a out of the box or gallery yet, due to tecnical difficulty. However the guitar is complete and sound marvelous, will try to get a gallery thread going as soon as i get my hand on a decent camera (hopefully tomorrow).

Every guitar build I do, I take heaps of pic's of each ones progress. (good for looking back at different builds)

Very nice Tele.  There are a lot of nice Teles on this forum.  A must-see is Julia's Tele.  I can't recall what her SN is but I think it's like "Jewels" or something...It is amazing.

Nope, that's not the one, though very nice!  She has another one and I think it's like some Trans Black or something.  I forget what the exact color was but it was pretty crazy.  It was the hotness!  arty07:
