Wow, this just made ordering a body soooooooooooo much easier and more fun to do. I absolutely love the graphic representation of the finish on the laminate top, it seems very realistic. Also, is it just me or can we now look at more laminate top options? I never saw wild maple as an option... so yeah. It's also little confusing how you can choose the laminate top in the wood section and then choose a laminate top made of a different type of wood in the unique choice section. Other then that, I can't wait 'till we can see this super amazing body builder for other guitar bodies.  :rock-on:
Wild maple has too...
I just looked at the body builder for other guitar bodies, and wild maple, Jotoba, and Shedua aren't options for laminate tops......I know they're options for a laminate top if you call Warmoth up, but just not for the body builder.

I also just noticed that when you look at the body from the side, the figure of the laminate top is different from when you look at the body from the front. Still looks great though.

Dude, come on don't be so fussy, give the guys a break.  :dontknow:

It's a simple way to get AN IDEA how your chosen body will look not a photo of the finished article.

Sorry, I didn't mean to be fussy. I thought I was helping Warmoth out by telling them that they're are a few bugs that can be easily fixed. After all, that's why we're here, right? Building a guitar is no small project, and to me, a small detail like this can cause confusion for someone.

wow, that is bloody brilliant. I would have loved to have this when I ordered my VIP. I think that should be next.

VIP next would be awesome, but I'm sure they're going to do the Fender-shapes first :tard:

I just hope the thinline doesn't lag too far behind the more mundane teles.

Love the new builder, and can't wait to see more of them, but...

you need to add a link to the "GAS Support Hotline" or I'm going to be in big trouble when some of the Bass, Neck, and other-body-type builders are done!  :help:

Yeah, this didn't exactly cure my GAS :tard:
Now I'm doing this a few times a day. Dang you, Warmoth :toothy12:

As with any addiction, the more eye candy and freebies you can give out, the more repeat customers you'll get.

Clever :laughing7:, eh, mates?

I did come across a bug where I selected a blue burst, with candy blue on the back, and the effect didn't show up on the back, but I can't reproduce it.

One thing I would request is that we get to see the body with a bridge on it, for those who are buying the UC tops.  In the case of a tele bridge, or even a Floyd Rose, it would determine which of the Unique Choices you'd make. On some tops, the interesting bits would be hiding behind the bridge.

The coolest thing, i think, is the ability to see the different laminate tops on the guitar. Helps immensely when wanting to see choices on the guitar rather than trying to imagine what it would look like. Strong work!
