Just finished a sweet '51 .
She is a one piece Poplar with Q-sawn Maple / Ebony neck
finished in Shellac and Minwax wipeon poly
Sentell sc pickup , Kts Titanium bridge w/ Gotoh res-o-lite tuners

Don't see clear poplar too often. Not sure why, it looks good.
