New parts arrived

Hello guys this is my first attemp at building a project guitar.
The green one is a swamp ash body the blue is korina.
The neck is maple roundback contour with brazilian rosewood.  I will put this neck on the swamp ash body. Will use a black pickguard

Still deciding on a good neck combination with the korina body.  Do you guys have any input?
I am leaning towards unfinished neck

I want to say go rosewood for the neck on the blue one, and someone else will probably chime in with a suggestion for wenge.

Not sure about dark woods on the blue one... Would say Maple, but you want it raw...

+1, a nice maple neck with maple fingerboard.  An ebony fingerboard would also look good.

I know exactly what you mean by the dark woods,  since the body is of light color a light color neck back would be a good choice. 
What about canary, any opinions on canary with ebony board

Not because it's light color on body, because it's blue and I don't think it matches well with brown or red... But I've never seen it, so I may be wrong...

Jack has one and he said it sounds damn close to all maple neck...

Canary neck on a Korina body is definitely a winner.  I like the combination enough to want to build a second guitar on the same basis.
