I dig them too, but then I'm a Metallica fan..James has always had that style on the exp, but it does suit different shapes. I like it best on the exp. Heres my photo-chop rendition with the peghead in reverse....

Very good photo-shop - nice neck design too - Ken Lawrence doing guitars though is somewhat odd - I thought they did mostly basses? If it goes well with the body though; ie - Explorer style or Iceman style
