Just a thought. Possible to offer fret dot samples like you do with pickguard samples? Would be nice to see how some of them look on different woods.

Hey @aarontunes, Is there any possibility of getting these premium materials on other shapes as a call in option, even with a high upcharge ?
I've kinda decided on the Supernova as my 'trademark' neck, but would love to be able to get them in some of those other materials. Or is it just not doable, regardless of cost ?

Looking forward to seeing the jade properly. Also want to lob in a vote for bringing back abalone for non-dot inlay options. I saw on your instagram it was once available, maybe just an LTO? Heck , I might even be willing to settle for abalonoid!

Correct. The dot materials we only have as dots.

For example, it's not like we have big sheets of jade laying around that we can cut trapezoids from. We have dots, and that's it.

We've actually tried synthetic abalone within the last couple years. It didn't go well.

When you offer, like, 50 different inlay shapes and, like, 127 different fretboard radii, there are bound to be issues.....and we proved that. LOL.

Does cream only exist in dots? I get it with azurite malachite or abalone but cream seems like a pretty simple material.

The jade dots are OK for export, right? (Unlike the real pearl and abalone...)
