Hello!
Ordered this unfinished body from Vibeworks Guitars. Hoping to score a nice Warmoth neck to go with it. Let's see what happens! I've never been through all the stages like these from a bare body.

You know, now that I look at these pictures the neck pocket doesn't seem straight. I need to check it with the ruler!

I don't know what you mean by "straight", but the holes appear to be way shifted toward the top side of the neck pocket. That is, overall, just a disgusting piece of ... ummm ... workmanship.

Any other things you see? I like the idea of the body but want it to be straight, cut right, etc.

There are some makers on ETSY and Reverb that do very similar body builds on 3D printers... probably you can get a more accurate version that way...

Have you actually checked the geometry? Should be easy enough to mock up before you return it. Photos can be difficult to determine dimensions from. Looks like the kind of body I’d expect for $95 straight off a CNC

I hadn’t actually it just looks funky. I don’t want to take apart a working axe but I may see if I can find somewhere to test a neck before actually returning.
