well the new ac15 made it here last thursday. so that evening i had a chance to mess around with it for a couple hours. had a friend over and he played thru my fender super sonic while i tried out the vox. this is the hand wierd two channel version. The first channel was ok. but when i plugged it to the top boost chane it was like wow. i had it set up in the 7.5 watt mode. and the tone was that Tom Petty and the heartbreaker tone. I was useing a fender custom shop tele and a tube screamer. with the volume knob at 3 the tone knobs both at around 11 an the cut all the way to the left. so ok works in the back room. Friday I took it to a jam. The drummer is very heavy handed. not sure what the bass player was turned up to. the other guitarest was using a fender deluxe. i played in the top boost chanel with the volume between 10 and 11. still at 7.5 watts and had great tone and cut through great. booth the other gutiarest were very happy with how it sounded. deffinetly a keeper. played for 3 hour hey the bass player liked it too.we were in a basementplaying loud for the room size but not excessivly so. the speaker was a little tight but that will break in as it gets played. haven't had a chane to play a strat or a humbucker thru it yet but both should work. this amp really loves teles. i suspect the 15 watt set up should work equly well.
