New 5-String Jazz

What strings did you use?
Just i got a set of rotosound swing bass long scale which fit up to 34" for my deluxe five z bass
and found out they only did bridge loaded
and actually needed to get Extra long scale which did 33.5" to 36" scale for through body stringing.
Wondered if you had any stringing up "Ohhhh jeeez" moment
But mostly pure sillyness on my part that happened  :icon_scratch:

Ha ha..Indeed I did. I needed to get a set of 'super long" (D'Addario)for the E & B string to reach. I like the twin pack but they don't come in super long. I wonder if I can order individual strings from someone.

Hmmm i bet D'addario would do single strings possibly.
Well when they need replacing im going to get super long for mine,
but that wont be for a good year or something unless they get a massive amount of use (Fingers crossed :toothy12
As im curious what itll sound like through body, when it sounds great top loaded already.

wow that thing looks great! congrats on the new bass. i wasn't sold on that pickguard, but that cover ties it all in perfectly. i might try a black, but the one you have now is awesome
