I just needed to ream out some holes and I used the right sized twist bit by hand. What I did was build up a big (messy) ball of duct tape on the 25/64th drill bit to give me leverage and control. I very slightly chamfered the hole with a countersink bit before using the drill bit. This only worked because the difference I needed was very small, but it worked well for me.
