So, I have this old early 90s Strat-style 24 fret (yes, overhang like whoa) 16" radius birdseye maple/birdseye maple neck that's 24" scale. I've been told that the only bodies that this will fit (currently) are the Mustang/Jagstang/Jaguar bodies. I'd like to use 2 or 3 P90s and either a hardtail or Jaguar trem, and I'd like to finish it myself. So, I need a body that will look classy with that neck.
On the other hand, I have an early 90s LP Jr that's metallic purple, has 1 humbucker (JB), a black Tele style bridge and black hardware. I need a neck for this, and I was thinking baritone, but lately I'm thinking conversion scale exotic with the LP headstock. I'd like to have rosewood as a fingerboard for this one, either way.
Opinions; ideas? I'm only wanting to tackle one of these at a time, so which would you do?
