Yep. I just grabbed it off my mockup of Luke's strat, and did a lousy job of "cooling" it down some.

I really dislike traps on a Telecaster.  It offends my sense of "rawness" that Teles have.  I try to keep an open mind, but I have never seen one that "fit."  It always looked like someone wanted to put tits on a boar because tits are cool~  I hope that analogy isn't too crass.  Teles are a plank of wood bolted to a plank of wood.  Body binding is pushing it.  Neck binding is way out of line... it makes the poor headstock look even gimpier.

Anyway, prove me wrong with this build.  It'd be good for me.

My Canary neck has quite a bit of thunk to it.  Acoustically, It is noticeably dark sounding than any Strat I've played, especially so with pure nickel wrap strings.  However, there are other factors on that guitar that could be contributing to that.  So far though, my Canary neck feels the best, IMO.  My Wenge neck a close second, and my Indian Rosewood is a distant third.
