Neck-through construction with a laminate top

Hey guys here with another question. Most people here probably won't know how to answer this one but if anyone has any information it will be helpful. I've made neck-through guitars before and their construction is pretty straight forward. But I started think lately why haven't I made one with a cool laminate top? I would make one kinda like this but I don't know how it would be possible to glue the laminate top on a neck-through. Can anyone help me with this kind of construction?

From that photo, it appears that the sides are sandwiched before gluing to the central portion. Meaning the rosewood is glued top and bottom to the mahogany (?) core, then those are glued to the maple center portion. That way you maintain the same planes but add in some very nice detail.

For tops, usually they are cut in around the end of the fretboard. The shop diary for Crimson Guitars in the UK has numerous examples of this; go to his site and click on the diary link.

But be warned; it is addictive...

Keep us posted with lots of photos!!!
