Neck pocket question

Can a tele neck pocket be turned into a strat or has too much material already been removed??

If you had to put a tele neck on a strat,  I believe that the neck would have to altered.

I believe a strat neck will fit in a tele route but there will be a gap as the strat neck is rounded and the tele neck is more square.  This would likely be hidden by the pickguard.

The wood has been removed as the tele neck is squarer at the end than a strat. The strat neck will fit bit there would be a gap. You could try and piece some in and recut it. Or as said cover it with a pickguard.

A tele neck won't fit a strat body. Unless you reshape the neck or the pocket.
