I've decided to go in a different direction with my Mooncaster build. Still a tribute, but.... I will update elsewhere soon.
In the mean time, I placed an order for the neck:
Style: Warmoth
Construction: Gibson® Scale (24-3/4") Conversion Tiltback
Scale: 24-3/4 in. Conversion
Neck Wood:
Shaft Wood: Birdseye Maple
Fretboard Wood: Ebony (Black)
Right/Left: Right Handed
Nut Width: 1-11/16"
Neck Profile: Standard thin
Radius: 10-16" compound
# of Frets: 22
Fret Size: SS6230 (Stainless)
Tuner Ream: Gotoh/Grover (13/32" 11/32")
Inlays
Inlays: White Pearloid Trapezoid
Side Dots: White Side Dots
Pre-Cut Installed String Nut: GraphTech White TUSQ XL - Standard Nut
Mounting Holes: Standard 4 Bolt
I'm hoping the Birdseye is kinda on the darker amber side, I put my preference in the notes, but I understand how it goes. Now, if any Warmoth employee on the forum can point the production dept in the right direction, I would be eternally grateful!
In any event, I'll follow up with new mock-ups soon.
