Hi all
:help: I need a neck for a Mahogany solid body.
These are examples only...
This one not sure how smooth the fretboard is using Maple / Wenge :icon_scratch:

Or this one using Maple / Pau Ferro
http://www.warmoth.com/Showcase/ShowcaseNeck.aspx?i=vms4451&Body=1&Path=Neck
Yes it has to be Maple main part, as the finish on that will blend with the bodies finish.
I have necks with Canary, Ebony, Maple & Ziricote fretboards which are all nice & smooth.
Prefer the look of the Wenge, as it should go with the finished product.
But my main concerned is on the 'so called' rough grain of Wenge .......Am I wrong on thinking that :icon_scratch:
Any help or thoughts very much appreciated :icon_thumright: Cheers
