Hi. I'm going to be finishing a new Warmoth neck soon and just wanted to see if my plan seems reasonable. It's a birds eye maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard for a Tele. What I'm planning on doing is a coat or two of amber varnish followed by several coats of a wipe on gloss poly. Does this sound like a good plan and what should I do about the edges of the fingerboard? Thanks for any suggestions.
