In my opinion there are too many things involved to even begin to get an idea of when it will be shipped. It could take however long they predicted or it could come out really quick. I guess it all falls down to how many orders they're wrestling with at the time. When I ordered my first one a few years back they gave me the 6 week estimate, or however long it was, but it got here a LOT quicker than that. I think I had everything in like 3 weeks, and don't forget I have to wait at least a week on shipping too because I'm in Japan. The body was from the Showcase but the neck was full order. Everything came together. That's happened on each order though, including this last one. I think they cover themselves in the event that something comes up and it's going to take them longer than expected. With any luck you'll be getting that neck within the next few weeks. I know that itch, man. I have a body and neck out right now getting a Van Halen Frankenstein paint job done to it. The guy is telling me 4-6 months. I'm ready to jump out of my skin waiting for this thing......I'm only a few weeks into it too.
