Natural body?

I've finally decided on my bass body! Short scale single cut! (Looking at the weights of the single cut ash bodies on the site, I'm worried they might be too light - neck dive?)
Just need to decide on the woods now ...
Does Warmoth currently offer any woods for bodies that do not require a finish?

Bubinga, Padouk, Rosewood, and Wenge are alll available in both necks and bodies and the neck pages say they don't require finish.  Walnut does well with only an oil finish.

can't help but wonder what an all wenge iceman would sound like...

seriously... what WOULD an all wenge guitar sound like?

Some of those have limited availability as bodies.

I pulled them from the stock list of body woods. You don't have to chamber a wenge body, but you should consider putting a reverse headstock on it so the tuners don't whack you in the face.

...cant really chamber an iceman...

Wish I could....

but alas. that was not meant to be.
