allright. I got an invitation for NAMM '13!! I already have a ticket for the plane but I need a place to stay. I am absolutely not familiar with that area.

Who knows a cheap place to stay, for a couple of days before and after NAMM? any info is welcome!

The convention center is literally across the street from Disneyland, so there are tons of hotels right there.  Price-wise I don't really know much about where to go because I live here and I don't really ever need a hotel.  There's always Motel 6!

If you have time, you should go to the Guitar Center on Sunset Blvd. in LA.  I normally wouldn't recommend going to a GC, but the one in LA is rad because it has the hand prints and signatures of a bunch of rock legends in the cement out front.  I put my hands in Jimmy Page's handprints.  They also have an amazing vintage room with $50k+ Strats and Les Pauls.

There's also Amoeba Records on Sunset.  I believe it is the 2nd largest record store in the US.

Good choices, we stayed at the Wyndham Bel Age on Sunset. Nice hotel, they filmed part of a movie there. But it's pricey, something like $300 a night. Guitar Center is a good place to check out, beside the hand prints they usually have some cool memorabilia in the front windows.

I doubt I will have the time to visit Guitar Center. Besides... Its NAMM. All the guitars I can handle are there.

Ps. I got an invitation to go to Santa Barbara to visit an undisclosed factory of an undisclosed company, but i can tell you: it aint Dimarzio  :cool01:
