not even close.
and it plays like a dream (still breaking her in)
and the chambered mahogany body is light as you'd want. perfect for hours on the shoulder!
the luthier who did the assembly for me is a genius, and a great guy who does fantastic works and always leads you in the right direction.

The only mod i might make will be to add a push/pull to unphase the humbucker for that nasal/whonky sound, otherwise (and even so) i'm thrilled.

This comes from someone who likes neither quilted maple, tobacco bursts (or bursts of any kind) or Strats in general: absolutely wonderful! A subtle, understated design will always win the day.
